Former Ghana forward Godwin Attram has said that defender, Kojo Oppong Peprah deserves the debut senior national team call up.
The 20-year-old has earned his debut call up ahead of the Black Stars final two 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Central African Republic and Comoros this month.
Ghana will travel to the Stade d’Honneur de Meknes in Morocco as guests of Central African Republic on October 8 before returning home to host Comoros at the Accra Sports Stadium on October 12.
Gdowin Attram, who scouted Oppong Peprah before roping him into his second tier club, Attram de Visser Soccer Academy has given rave reviews about his former player.
“Kojo Oppong Peprah is a centre back and very technical player and tactical player,” Godwin Attram told Andydotcom.
“He is a player who really respects the pitch and respects the opponent and he has already played the U-17 before and the U-20 before I transferred him to Swedish club, Norrkopings.
“I think he has been very consistent and it’s not a surprise for him to be in the Black Stars, he deserves to be in the call up because he has worked hard during the season.
“He played consistently in Sweden and at OG Nice right now, he has been on top so if he has been able to play while senior man Dante is on the bench, he deserves the call up.” Godwin Attram added.
The highly-rated centre-back has earned himself playing minutes for Nice since the beginning of the 2025-26 campaign after joining from Swedish outfit IFK Norrkoping.
