Speaking ahead of the game, Moffi, who plays for Ligue 1 side OGC Nice, said as quoted by allnigeriasoccer.com: “We are really confident about qualifying for the World Cup,” Moffi said. ”We have to do our part and wait for the result of the other team. So, we’re really confident things will go our way.”
Nigeria midfielder Wilfred Ndidi echoed Moffi’s sentiments by saying: “We know where we are at the moment. These two games are very crucial. First of all, we focus on the Lesotho one and then we look towards the Benin one, but the most important now is the Lesotho one.”
