Nigeria senior men national team, Super Eagles have confirmed the arrival of ten players to their training camp in Rabat, Morocco, as preparations intensify for Thursday’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier playoff semifinal against Gabon.
Team captain William Troost-Ekong, Fulham trio of Calvin Bassey, Samuel Chukwueze, Alexander Iwobi all arrived the team’s hotel on Sunday.

Those already in camp include midfielder Wilfred Ndidi, and forwards Moses Simon, Tolu Arokodare, and Olakunle Olusegun. Also said to have arrived late on Sunday are defenders Benjamin Fredericks and Chidozie Awaziem who joined the early birds.
The remaining 15 invited players are expected to arrive on Monday with Victor Osimhen was seen rushing to the airport after Galatasaray defeat to Kocaelispor to join the three-time African champions as they gear up for their encounter against the Panthers of Gabon at the Complexe Sportif Prince Héritier Moulay El Hassan.
The match is scheduled to kick off at 5:00 p.m. Morocco time (same as Nigeria).
Meanwhile, the other semifinal will see Cameroon take on the Democratic Republic of Congo, with the winners of both ties advancing to the final on Sunday evening at the same venue.
The eventual champion will secure Africa’s sole ticket to the Intercontinental Playoffs slated for Mexico next year.
