The speedy defender has relocated to Molineux from Hellas Verona in Italy. The Premier League side confirmed the acquisition of the right-back on a five-year deal from the Serie A outfit.

The contract for the Belgium-born player, who spent two years at Verona, includes a 12-month option, according to Wolves’ statement.

Tchatchoua carved out a reputation as one of the fastest defenders in Serie A, clocking 36.3km/h last season. He, therefore, has moved to the right place in the Premier League where physicality and speed are a must-have.

The 23-year-old also proved adept on the opposite side of the pitch, registering two goals and three assists last season, the latest being on his last Serie A appearance against Empoli in May.

Tchatchoua launched his professional football career with Charleroi in Belgium and made his debut in 2021.

The young wingback debuted for Cameroon in a World Cup qualifier against Cape Verde in June 2024.

The Cameroonian left Verona after having made 43 appearances. Tchatchoua has joined other Africans at the Molineux in Zimbabwean Marshall Munetsi.
