Morocco's Wydad Athletic Club de Casablanca is set to finalize the arrival of Burkinabe striker Stephane Aziz Ki from Young Africans SC (Tanzania).
Highly rated Burkinabe striker Aziz Ki is expected to sign with Wydad Athletic Club in the coming days after months of interest and negotiations. The Moroccan club had been monitoring Aziz Ki since last summer and renewed their interest during the winter transfer window.
Talks initially stalled due to disagreements over financial terms. According to the latest developments, the deal is now close to being finalized after Young Africans lowered their asking price, paving the way for the player's departure.
The 26-year-old striker is tipped to be part of Wydad AC's squad for the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup in the United States. Aziz Ki has been in great form with Young Africans, scoring five goals in nine CAF Champions League matches this season along with thirteen goals in domestic league and cup competition.
