Yallah eyes glory as Liberian goal machine joins Vipers on three-year deal

Vipers SC’s new acquisition Mark Yallah has vowed to deliver goals, chase silverware, and etch his name in the club’s history books after sealing a three-year contract with the reigning Ugandan champions.

The 25-year-old Liberian striker joins from FC Fassell, where he enjoyed a blistering 2024/25 campaign, finishing as the second top scorer in the Liberian top flight with 20 goals. His red-hot form included 10 goals in the last four matches—highlighted by a four-goal haul and a hat-trick against Freeport.

“I feel honoured to join a big club like Vipers,” Yallah said. “This is a new chapter for me, and I want to write my name in the club’s history. I’m ready to give my best, score goals, and help the team make a statement on the continent, win trophies, and make the fans proud.”

Vipers confirmed Yallah as their first signing of the current transfer window, bolstering a forward line that already features established names like Yunus Sentamu, Kenneth Kimera, Gusto Mulongo, Isaac Ogwang, and Annest Ankunda.

The former Associa Black Bull (Mozambique) and Muscat FC (Liberia) forward also brings valuable international experience as the Venoms set their sights on continental success after their domestic dominance.
