RB Leipzig’s young Ivorian star Yann Diomandé continued his sensational rise in the Bundesliga, leading his team to a dominant 6–0 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt on Matchday 13 with a remarkable 18-minute hat-trick.
Diomandé struck in the 47th, 55th and 65th minutes, taking his league tally to six goals this season.
Yan’s milestone also placed him in the history books: he is now the second-youngest player ever to score a Bundesliga hat-trick, behind former Frankfurt striker Walter Bechtold, who achieved the feat in November 1965.
Leipzig’s scoring opened early through Conrad Harder after just five minutes, before Christoph Baumgartner doubled the lead in the 31st minute. David Raum added the fifth goal from the penalty spot in the 62nd minute, moments before Diomandé completed his hat-trick.
The emphatic win keeps RB Leipzig firmly in second place in the Bundesliga standings with 29 points, eight behind leaders Bayern Munich.
