RS Berkane attacking midfielder, Yassine Labhiri has set RSB's sights on winning a continental next season.

Berkane made history by securing their first-ever Moroccan Botola league title following a 1-1 draw against Ittihad Touarga in week 25. The result confirmed Berkane as champions with 60 points, opening a 15-point lead over their closest challengers FAR Rabat with five matches still to play.

Speaking to Kooora after defeating Tangier in the Throne Cup on Thursday, Labhiri said, “Morale is high. The group is cohesive, and the fans and management support the players.

What’s stopping us from moving forward to achieve this great dream?” “We will fight to win the Confederation Cup and the Throne Cup. The treble, God willing, is our biggest bet. "

“Humility is our weapon and Berkane’s strength. We respect our opponents, but we have great confidence in the team’s performance and the players’ performance, so we are very happy with what has been achieved. But more importantly, we are hungry to win more titles,” he added.

Berkane’s remarkable campaign saw them register 18 wins, six draws, and just one defeat against Fath Union Sportive.

They have also reached the quarterfinals of the CAF Confederation Cup. Renaissance Berkane will face Ivorian club ASEC Mimosas next Wednesday in the first leg of the Confederation Cup quarter-finals.
