Meriah, on his official account, denied any desire to leave Espérance Sportive de Tunis or any contact with anyone, confirming his continued presence at the club.

It should be noted that the Tunisian international (87 caps, 5 goals) has a contract with Espérance Sportive de Tunis for an additional year.
