Yaya Dieme: Senegal youngster joins Ligue 1 side Strasbourg

French Ligue 1 club, Racing Club Strasbourg have secured the service of Senegal youth international Yaya Dieme on a long term contract.

The Senegal U20 international winger has signed with Racing until 2030, beginning a new chapter to his burgeoning career.

Trained at the famed Diambars Academy in Senegal, Yaya Diémé played a key role in his country’s first-ever U17 Africa Cup of Nations victory in 2023.

Yaya Dieme is now tied to Racing until 2030

The winger, born in 2007, represented his country a few months later at the U17 World Cup, where they were eliminated by France in the round of 32.

A rising star of African football, Yaya Dieme is now tied to Racing until 2030 adding to the growing list of young Senegalese players joining the European train.

Dieme had trials at English giants Chelsea whose owners BlueCo hold majority stake in Strasbourg.
