Brentford FC are building a reputation as a club no team wants to face in the English Premier League and Nottingham Forest found out the hard way on Thursday as the Bees swarmed to a 2-0 victory away from home.
DR Congo national team star Yoane Wissa confirmed three points away from home for Brentford with his 70th minute chip over Forest goalkeeper Matz Sels after the home defense had a nightmare time dealing with a goal kick.
While the other member of Brentford's dynamic African international attacking duo did not get on the scoresheet, Cameroonian forward Bryan Mbeumo played the full ninety minutes to help his team earn their second straight victory.
Inconsistent form in the second half of the campaign has left Brentford all but out of the race to qualify for UEFA competitions next season in 11th place. However, the West London club continue to prove they can beat any team on their best day, confirming a drop to sixth place for Forest and out of a UEFA Champions League place for now.
Wissa now has 17 goals and 3 assists in 34 appearances this season. He and Mbeumo have combined to score 35 of Brentford's 58 goals in the Premier League this season.
