After numerous rumors of a transfer to clubs in North Africa, Burkinabe national team attacker Stephane Aziz Ki's departure from Tanzanian giants Young Africans is now official. The club said its farewell to Aziz Ki on its social media channels Saturday.

Aziz Ki's departure comes after a very successful three seasons with Yanga. The 29-year-old accumulated 41 goals in 92 appearances in domestic league and continental competitions, winning Tanzania's NBC Premier League in all three of his seasons with the club.

Aziz Ki joined Yanga after excellent performances with Ivorian giants ASEC Mimosas in the CAF Confederation Cup, prompting Yanga to sign Aziz Ki when his contract with ASEC expired. He previously had spells with another Ivorian club, AFAD Djekanou, after time spent in Europe with clubs from Cyprus and Spain.

The Abidjan native appears set for a move to North Africa with Morocco's Wydad AC a serious candidate to acquire Aziz Ki's services. The Casablanca giants are looking for reinforcements before they take part in the FIFA Club World Cup in June. Tunisia's Club Africain has also been rumored to be interested.
