Video: Zakaria El Ouahdi scores as Genk beat Sint-Truiden in Belgian Pro League

Moroccan star Zakaria El Ouahdi continued his impressive form with KRC Genk, scoring the winning goal in a 1–0 victory over Sint-Truiden in Round 29 of the Belgian Pro League.

El Ouahdi found the back of the net in the 20th minute after receiving a pass inside the penalty area before unleashing a precise left-footed shot into the corner of the goal to give Genk the lead.

The home side managed to maintain their advantage for the remainder of the match, securing a valuable three points in the race for a place in the championship playoffs.

The Moroccan winger has been in excellent form in recent weeks, scoring three goals in his last four matches. So far this season, El Ouahdi has registered 12 goal contributions for Genk, scoring eight goals and providing three assists.

The win is a crucial one for Genk, who now sit seventh in the Belgian Pro League standings with 41 points, just one point behind the top six places that qualify for the championship playoff stage.
