Zamalek appoints new head coach and football director

Zamalek SC has announced the appointment of Ayman El Ramady as the new head coach of the first team until the end of the current season, succeeding Portuguese coach José Peseiro.
The announcement comes after the club officially confirmed earlier today the termination of Peseiro’s contract. El Ramady signed his contract in a meeting with club officials and his first day in charge with the team is today, Wednesday.
The board has also decided to appoint the former club's defender Wael El-Qabbani as the new football director, replacing Abdel Wahid El-Sayed.

The club confirmed that the medical and administrative staff will continue in their roles without changes during the upcoming period.
Zamalek will face Ceramica Cleopatra this Friday in Matchweek 5 of the title phase of the Nile Egyptian League.
The White Knights currently sit third on the table with 40 points, trailing Al Ahly by six points and league leaders Pyramids by seven.
