Zamalek head coach Ayman El Ramady expressed his happiness with the team’s victory over Petrojet in the penultimate round of the Nile Egyptian League.

Zamalek defeated hosts Petrojet 3-1, raising their tally to 44 points and securing third place in the final standings of the season.

Speaking at the post-match press conference, the head coach said: “We needed this win to regain confidence after a period of setbacks.”

Ayman El Ramady added: “I’m pleased with the performance of the young players. They are promising talents and capable of delivering even better levels in the coming periods.”

He emphasized that he has started to implement a clear playing style aimed at bringing back the beautiful football that characterizes Zamalek, saying: “You will see the best in the coming period.”

The head coach denied recent rumors about a crisis within the club, stressing that problems are normal in all major teams, but some people exploit differences in opinion to create false and baseless crises.

Ayman El Ramady continued: “By nature, I prefer to provide all necessary tools for the players before starting work. That’s their right, and there’s no issue with that. But some try to exaggerate matters and fabricate problems.”

He confirmed that he is not affected by what is posted on social media, as he doesn’t follow it due to his personality, and he is used to working under pressure.

Regarding the participation of Abdallah El Said despite his absence from the team’s training camp in Ismailia, El Ramady explained that the player's absence was due to muscle pain, and it had nothing to do with his contract renewal situation, contrary to what had been reported.

He stressed: “Abdallah El Said is one of the best players technically and ethically. He was fully committed to his training, and if he had joined the Ismailia camp, he would have undergone individual training. It would be unfair not to rely on him.”

Ayman El Ramady concluded his remarks by saying: “I hope to win the Egypt Cup with Zamalek. It’s the least we can offer the club’s great fans, who truly deserve happiness.”
