Portuguese coach Jose Gomes, the head coach of Zamalek Egypt, talked about the upcoming match against Nigeria's Enyimba, scheduled for tomorrow, Sunday, in their Group D match at the CAF Confederation Cup.
In the pre-match press conference, Gomes stated:
"There is a positive aspect in the group for Zamalek with the presence of a team from the same country, which is Al Masry. However, our match against them will be outside Cairo and they are a strong opponent. Matches against Zamalek are always competitive."
He continued: "We have information about Enyimba and watched their match against Al Masry. Nowadays football is accessible to everyone and every team knows the capabilities of its opponent."
The coach concluded: "I hope to see Enyimba’s fans filling the stands in large numbers. Tomorrow will be different and Zamalek fears no one. We aim to deliver a strong performance in tomorrow’s match."
Zamalek is set to face Enyimba at 5:00 PM GMT tomorrow, Sunday, at Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo, Nigeria as part of the second round of the group stage in the CAF Confederation Cup.
