Ayman El-Ramady, the head coach of Zamalek, was keen to deliver several messages at the beginning of the press conference held today, Friday, before the upcoming match against Pharco in the final round of the Nile Egyptian League.

The head coach said:

"My first message is a message of thanks and gratitude to some people who stand with the team in a very big way, and their only goal is to support Zamalek regardless of position or personal gain, and I mention among them Captain Ahmed Abdel Halim, the great Zamalek star, and his continuous support, and all of Ashraf Kasem, Gamal Abdel Hamid, Ismail Youssef, and Tamer Abdel Hamid Donja, and others. Their only interest is their love for the club without any benefit."

El-Ramady added:

"My second message is to whom it may concern: Zamalek club in the coming period will take good steps, but we need everyone to know that no one has credit over Zamalek club, and the strongest link is always its fans, who want to see the club in the best image. I demand everyone to work for the fans, and no one gave something to Zamalek without the club returning it to him multiple times, and the only one who loves Zamalek selflessly is the fans, and they do not wait for material gain or fame."

The head coach continued:

"The third message is to the players and the technical staff and the medical and administrative staffs. The matter is not just about the Egypt Cup final match, and I hope we understand a lot that everyone must dedicate themselves in giving and exert our utmost efforts in the coming period. When I came in, I found many difficulties, and if I gained 5% of the fans’ love, then I won millions, and the work in the coming period needs you to be giving."

"The Pharco match tomorrow in the league competition is very important, and we need to continue working in a certain way to achieve our goals, and it is not hidden from anyone that we are going through difficulties, but excellence that is born from the womb of suffering has a different taste and success."

He added:

"We have injuries, but I have confidence in all the players who will participate in the match, and for the first time I feel that I am in great need of success in the coming period to make Zamalek fans happy."

"We will deal with the Pharco match in a way that suits the public interest, and if resting some players is in the interest of the team, we will work on that, and if we see that the participation of the main players is better for them, we will do that, and the matter will not be decided except now and we will choose what is best for the team."

Ayman El-Ramady added:

"Most of the injured will be ready in the Pharco match, but recovery from injury is not enough, and the player must be in good technical condition, and it is possible that Nasser Mansi will be present with the team, but he may not start, while Mahmoud Bentaej needs several days."

El-Ramady explained that changing the training ground in the past period came to change the players’ mood, and take them out of a certain atmosphere, in addition to training on a better field, and I believe all these are efforts from the technical staff to reach a good state.

The head coach commented on the rumors that are constantly spreading about the team by saying:

"Many times there are rumors, and matters are greatly exaggerated, and we only blame ourselves, and we are supposed to be more cautious and careful, and matters must be kept within ourselves, and all clubs have internal problems, but matters are exaggerated in Zamalek."

Ayman El-Ramady concluded by saying:

"My message to Zamalek fans: You are the strongest link in Zamalek club, even if the fans made a mistake one day, it would be because of their excitement because they want the club in the best image, and about 95% of Zamalek fans are simple people, and all they care about is to be happy with the club, and any mistake from them does not include a major offense, and you are the most important link in Zamalek club."

Zamalek has secured third place in the Nile Egyptian League standings, meaning that this match could be a preparation for facing Pyramids in the Egypt Cup final on June 5.
