Zamalek’s director of football, Abdel Nasser Mohamed, has assured fans that head coach Yannick Ferrera is in good condition following a health issue after the club’s 0-0 draw with Arab Contractors on Saturday in the Nile Egyptian League.
Speaking to the club’s media center, Mohamed revealed that the Belgian coach underwent medical checks and was given the all-clear.
Zamalek’s director of football also revealed that coach Yannick Ferrera has already set out the team’s preparation plan for the next match against Modern Sport.
Zamalek will resume training on Monday as they gear up for Thursday’s Round 3 fixture against Modern Sport in the league.
The White Knights currently sit third on four points in the league table, after opening the season with a 2-0 victory over Ceramica Cleopatra before being held to a goalless draw by Arab Contractors.
