Speaking to the club’s media center, Ferrera described the negotiation process with Zamalek as “very quick and smooth”, noting that both parties were eager to work together.

“Zamalek is a big team, one of the best clubs in Egypt. I read that it was the best club of the 20th century,” Ferrera said. “Now, we hope to try and make it the best club of the 21st century.”

The Belgian coach emphasized the importance of unity and shared vision within the team: “First and foremost, I believe what matters most is that we all move in the same direction. If we can achieve that, then I believe victories will follow.”

He added: “I’m not going to come here and lie by saying, ‘With me, you will win.’ What I can say is: ‘With me, we will work hard, we will fight, and we will share the same values as the fans.’ I believe that if we all do this together, winning will come naturally.”

Ferrera also stressed the importance of focusing on the process rather than immediate results: “We shouldn’t talk about winning now. We should talk about what we need to do to get there—and hopefully, we will reach that goal in the future.”

In a message to the Zamalek fans, Ferrera concluded: “I can promise you one thing: the players will fight for you with everything they have—from the first day to the last. That is a promise I can make.”
