Zamalek's doctor reveals goalkeeper Mohamed Awad's injury

Dr. Mohamed Osama, head of the medical staff of Egyptian side Zamalek, confirmed that goalkeeper Mohamed Awad has been suffering from recurring pain in his knee joint.


Speaking to the club’s media center, Dr. Osama stated that the goalkeeper is currently undergoing rehabilitation training and a conservative treatment program.


Awad featured in Zamalek’s most recent match against Haras El Hodoud in the second round of the Nile Egyptian League title phase, keeping a clean sheet in a 2-0 victory.


Zamalek have resumed training in preparation for their upcoming clash against Al Masry, scheduled for May 1st at Borg El Arab Stadium, as part of the third round of the title phase in the Egyptian Nile League.
