Dr. Mohamed Osama, the head of Zamalek's medical staff, has revealed that striker Nasser Mansy suffered from a health issue, which led to his absence from the recent two match squads, including the Cairo Derby squad.

Speaking to the club’s media center, Dr. Osama confirmed that Mansy is under medical supervision to ensure his condition improves before rejoining group training.

He further explained that the player underwent a conservative treatment protocol to recover and return to action as soon as possible.

Nasser Mansy is currently the second-highest scorer in the Nile Egyptian League with eight goals, trailing leaders Emam Ashour and Osama Faisal, who have nine goals each.

Zamalek's next game will be against Smouha on Saturday in the quarter-finals of Egypt Cup. The match will take place at Cairo International Stadium at 7:30 PM GMT.
