Zambia’s Kangwa scores again as Hapoel Be'er Sheva see off Hapoel Jerusalem

Zambia international Kings Kangwa scored in a second consecutive match as Hapoel Be'er Sheva defeated Hapoel Jerusalem F.C. 2-0 in a crucial Israel Premier League fixture at the Teddy Stadium on Sunday.


The Chipolopolo star opened the scoring in the 26th minute with a lovely finish to help his side go into the half-time break with a 1-0 advantage. In the second period, Eliel Peretz doubled Hapoel Be'er Sheva’s lead in the 77th minute.



Kangwa, who was named Man of the Match, has now reacted to his performance on his social media pages: “+3 points away from home and thanks to God for another Goal, and Man of the match award. Thanks for the support.”


The win helped stretch Hapoel Be'er Shevas lead at the top of the league table to 44 points accumulated from 14 wins, four draws and one defeat while Hapoel Jerusalem remained 10th with 20 points from 19 matches.


Kangwa was on target on January 15 as Hapoel Be'er Sheva defeated Hapoel Hadera 6-0 in the Round of 16 fixture of the Israel State Cup. In the Israel league, he has so far featured 19 teams, scored eight goals and provided five assists.
