Zambia’s Kings Kangwa named Best Foreign Player of the Year in Israel

Zambia and Hapoel Be’er Sheva midfielder Kings Kangwa has been named the Best Foreign Player in the Israeli Premier League and also earned a spot in the league’s Best XI.

The Chipolopolo star delivered a stellar campaign, registering the most goals and assists among all Zambian players abroad this season – a true testament to his rising influence on the global stage.

Kangwa and Hapoel Be’er Sheva finished runners-up in the Israeli Premier League as Maccabi Tel Aviv were crowned champions.

Reacting to the Award, Kangwa wrote on his social media pages: “BEST FOREIGN PLAYER OF THE YEAR, AND THE BEST TEAM OF THE YEAR… thanks to everyone who voted for me.”

Despite falling short of the title, Kangwa capped off a remarkable season by scoring in a commanding 5-0 victory over Hapoel Haifa on the final day. He concluded the campaign with an impressive 14 goals and nine assists in 35 matches.
