Zambia and Hapoel Be'er Sheva midfielder Kings Kangwa has been named the Best Foreign Player in the Israeli Premier League and also earned a spot in the league's Best XI.
The Chipolopolo star delivered a stellar campaign, registering the most goals and assists among all Zambian players abroad this season – a true testament to his rising influence on the global stage.
Kangwa and Hapoel Be'er Sheva finished runners-up in the Israeli Premier League as Maccabi Tel Aviv were crowned champions.
Reacting to the Award, Kangwa wrote on his social media pages: "BEST FOREIGN PLAYER OF THE YEAR, AND THE BEST TEAM OF THE YEAR… thanks to everyone who voted for me.”
Despite falling short of the title, Kangwa capped off a remarkable season by scoring in a commanding 5-0 victory over Hapoel Haifa on the final day. He concluded the campaign with an impressive 14 goals and nine assists in 35 matches.
