Just a week after raiding Kenya for the services of Harambee Stars striker Michael Shumah, Power Dynamos have returned again this time to sign FC Talanta forward Emmanuel Osoro ahead of the 2025/26 MTN-sponsored Zambian Premier League (ZPL) and CAF Champions League campaign.
Shumah, who was the top scorer of FKF Premier League with 17 goals moved to Dynamos from Kakamega Homeboyz. The club has now signed Osoro, who was second in the top scorers’ chart with 16 goals. A statement from Dynamos confirmed the acquisition of the players, saying Osoro had signed a two-year permanent deal.
“Power Dynamos Football Club (PDFC) have strengthened their attack by signing 19-year-old Kenyan star Emmanuel Osoro,” read part of the statement. “The prolific goal-scorer, who netted 16 goals and provided seven assists in the 2024-2025 Kenyan Super League season, joins us from Talanta FC on a two-year permanent deal.
“This follows the recent acquisition of Kenya's top scorer, Moses Shumah, who netted 17 goals last season. With these two talents, Power Dynamos is set for an impressive season ahead. Welcome to the team, Osoro.”
Apart from Osoro, Dynamos further confirmed the arrival of Samuel Ayodeji Bamidele from Nigeria's Shooting Stars Sports Club on a two-year permanent deal.
