Tunisia will play Zambia in an international match on June 10 in the Moroccan city of Casablanca. Head coach Sami Trabelsi announced his squad for Tunisia's upcoming friendly matches in June.
The Carthage Eagles were scheduled to face Guinea but the Tunisian Football Federation (FTF) has announced that Zambia will now take on the North African nation instead. No reason has been given as to why the fixture with Guinea was canceled by the FTF.
The FTF organized three friendly games, and the match against Zambia will be the last one. Tunisia will also play Burkina Faso and Morocco this June. The encounters will serve as preparation for 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches in September and October.
Tunisia tops Group H with 16 points, and qualifying for the World Cup looks imminent following two decisive wins back in March. Trabelsi has called up players from the March qualifying games. Burnley star Hannibal Mejbri headlines the selection. Veteran midfielder Ferjani Sassi has also been summoned for the two week long camp.
