The 18-year old Shamuel Soccer Academy startlet was part of the Zambia Under-20 Men’s National Team at the Egypt 2025 AFCON. Hamansenya has risen through the junior ranks in the Zambian set up starting with the Under 15, 17 and 20 and now looks set to move one rung up.

According the club website Hamansenya has penned a professional contract having come of age.

“I am very happy and this is a dream come true for me. I have waited for this moment and I am really excited to finally sign my professional contract.

“I want to thank Evans Kangwa owner of Shamuel Academy and my Agent Nir Karin who have both helped and guided me throw this journey and I will forever be grateful to them. And the entire Shamuel family thank you for everything you’re forever in my heart,” Hamansenya said.

Hamansenya was handed a debut national team call up in the early stages of the CHAN tournament by coach Wedson Nyirenda but missed out as the tournament was postponed before he got a chance to play and eventually moved to Spain.
