Zimbabwe: Billiat on target as Scottland FC seal title

Former Kaizer Chiefs star Khama Billiat was among the scorers as Scottland FC sealed the Zimbabwe Castle Lager Premier Soccer League (PSL) title on Sunday with two games to spare.
The rookies eased to a comfortable 5-1 victory over relegated Kwekwe United to take the tally to an unassailable 65 points.
Billiat scored once and Tymone Machope struck twice while Ronald Pfumbidzai and Tadiwa Chakuchichi also registered their names on the scoresheet at Aston Stadium.
History was made as Scottland’s veteran striker Knowledge Musona finally won his first Castle Lager PSL title on home soil having achieved all his previous glory in foreign lands.
For coach Tonderai Ndiraya, it is a matter of personal pride. He has led Scottland to the PSL title in their first season in the top-flight league. Ndiraya also steered Simba Bhora to the league championship last season just two years after being promoted to the top-flight league.
Scottland have taken their tally to 65 points, a tally MWOS FC and Bhora cannot reach with two games to go for the champions-in-waiting.
