Zimbabwe: CAPS United make it four out of four

CAPS United made it four straight wins in the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League (PSL) after easing to a 2-0 victory over HardRock in Harare on Saturday.
Warriors winger Ishmael Wadi opened the scoring for Makepekepe before substitute Alleny Mukombedzi scored the the insurance goal for Takesure Chiragwi’s troops late in the game.
Wadi smashed the ball into the net from a rebound for goalkeeper Tonderai Mateyaung to finally concede in the first half. Mukombedzi then came off the bench with eight minutes remaining on the clock to add the second goal for CAPS United.
Both teams, meeting for the first time in the elite league of Zimbabwe, started the second half on a high. Hard Rock were no pushovers with 55 percent of ball possession and five corners in the first half to prove this.
The fourth victory of the season took Makepekepe to the summit of the log table ending HardRock’s three-game unbeaten league run.
