Zimbabwe Castle Premier Soccer League champions Simba Bhora are heading to neighbouring South Africa for pre-season training next week.
Simba Bhora FC confirmed they will camp in Limpopo Province from January 19 to February 3, 2025.
“Simba Bhora FC will embark on a 2-week training camp in Polokwane, South Africa, from January 19 to February 3, 2025. During their stay, the team will play three friendly matches as part of their pre-season preparations,” the club’s statement reads.
The holders will likely start the new season with new faces after coach Tonderai Ndiraya left the team to join newly-promoted Scottland FC alongside skipper Walter Musona
The champions have signed Butholezwe Ncube in what is seen as a direct response to the departure of Musona, the reigning player of the year. It is reported that 13 players have left the club for greener pastures this transfer window.
