Struggling Caps United have pleaded with their supporters to continue to rally behind the team as it strives to bounce back in the Zimbabwe Premier League.

The call comes amid the team’s rocky form, lying third from bottom with a paltry seven points from eight games – and ten points behind leaders MOWS FC.

Given this, the Harare-based club, also known as Makepekepe, has issued a statement calling for support as they face FC Platinum on Wednesday, April 30 2025.

“We're trying up everything to rise among the best. Despite the challenges, we need your support now more than ever!” the statement reads.

“With a positive mindset, we believe we can overcome anything. This season may be tough, but together we'll make it memorable. Each game is a step closer to greatness, and CAPS United is our home where passion and drive unite us all for the badge.”

Caps United won 1-0 against Yadah FC on Saturday to end a four-game winless run. Overall, Makepekepe have won only twice in eight games to pile the pressure on coach Lloyd Chitembwe with ex-Caps United stars such as Ian Bakala linked with the job.

FC Platinum, led by coach Norman Mapeza, drew 1-1 in their last league outing against Triangle United.
