Following a seven-game winless run in Zimbabwe’s Castle Lager Premier Soccer League (PSL), FC Dynamos’ management has warned coach Llyod Chigowe and his backroom staff that heads will roll.

The Harare-based team’s management issued the warning after FC Dynamos lost 2-0 to Triangle United in a Zimbabwe Castle Lager PSL match on Sunday, May 11, 2025.

“Following a thorough review of the team's current performance and the league standing, the club has resolved to take immediate action to restore its competitive edge,” the statement reads.

“To address the performance slump, the management has decided to restructure the current technical team in its entirety following due process.”

FC Dynamos’ management has promised to review the technical team’s composition by Wednesday, May 14, 2025, to revitalize the team's performance and uphold the club's reputation.’

Ahead of a recent league game against Triangle United, Chigowe told the media that his team, also known as DeMbare, had turned the corner.

"To be honest, the team was going through a tough period, but the mood is now competitive and encouraging. The players are determined to break the jinx against our upcoming opponent. They're motivated to prove themselves, and we believe we can pull ourselves out of this rut,” he said.

Dynamos lie third from the bottom of the Castle Lager PSL table with just one win from 11 matches – with five draws and five losses. The struggling DeMbare have scored two goals (including an own goal) and conceded seven.
