Zimbabwe Castle Lager Premier Soccer League newcomers, Scottland FC, continue to shake the domestic transfer market in the Southern African country, after hiring a new coach and a former Spanish Liga star.

After making a big coup in landing the Warriors winger Khama Billiat last week, Scottand have announced Tonderai Ndiraya as their head coach while also signing talented midfielder Nathan Mutasa.

Ndiraya has joined the rookies, replacing Genesis Mangombe, after dumping Simbo Bhora who he led to the Castle Premier Soccer League title last season.

On the other hand, the 21-year-old attacking midfielder Mutasa has returned home after launching his career in Europe, playing for Granada FC and Cutural Leonesa FC in Spain and Torcy in France.

The newcomers also signed Soccer Star of the Year Walter Musona from Simba Bhora and striker Mbongeni Minezhi, formerly of Bulawayo City. Minezhi joined the Northern Region Soccer League champions on a four-year deal from City with whom he scored 17 goals last season.

Scottland have since justified their spending spree on players saying they want to “build a strong squad for the 2025 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League season.”
