Zimbabwe: Scottland midfielder Ansah-Botchway whips-up support ahead of Chicken Inn clash

Ghana midfielder Frederick Ansah-Botchway has rallied support for club side, Scottland FC ahead of their week 13 Zimbabwe Premier League fixture against Chicken Inn.
Scottland, who were promoted to the top flight last season, will host Chicken Inn at the Rufaro Stadium in Harare on Friday, May 23 at 3:00pm.
The nouveau riche club have done massive investment in the club acquiring top players including Ansah-Botchway. Botchway, who played for Ghana’s top club Hearts of Oak called on fans in and around Zimbabwe to support the club.
“I want to urge everyone to come in their numbers to support us and cheer us up and we are going to make everyone proud,” Ansah Botchway told Scottland media.
“We are playing against Chicken Inn on Friday and I’m calling on my Ghanaian fans to support us. I know I have a lot of fans in Ghana and I am urging all of them to watch us keenly and we will make them happy.
“I want to urge you to also keep an eye on Scottland FC and we will always make you happy.” He added.
Scottland have shown grit and consistency as they sit second in the league with 23 points, three behind leaders MWOS FC after 12 matches played this season.
Ansah-Botchway has previously played for defunct Ghana side Liberty Professionals, Hearts of Oak, Samartex before leaving to join Ethiopia club Adama City. Prior to joining Scottland FC, featured for Zimbabwe side Dynamos FC.
