Ahmed Sayed "Zizo", star player of Zamalek SC, has filed a complaint with the Players’ Affairs Committee at the Egyptian Football Association against his club's board of directors.

Zizo accused Zamalek officials of instructing club employees to remove his images from the walls inside the club premises, tear them apart, and trample on them.

According to the player's lawyer, this act was described as an attempt to intimidate and threaten Zizo into renewing his contract with the club under their terms.

These accusations mark a significant escalation in the dispute between the player and Zamalek, especially amid the ongoing tension and the player’s absence from team training sessions and matches since April 10.

Meanwhile, Zizo missed the club’s internal investigation session for the third time in a row, which was scheduled to be held on Wednesday.

The tension involving Zizo and Zamalek began when the club discovered that the player had signed contracts related to arch-rivals Al Ahly, in preparation for a move next season after the expiration of his current deal with Zamalek.

For this reason, the player was initially excluded from the Stellenbosch match on April 9.

Since then, Zizo has not participated in team training from April 10 until now, having completely cut off from sessions at the club.
