Ahmed Sayed “Zizo”, Al Ahly’s latest signing, has officially arrived in Miami, USA after completing his move from Zamalek on a free transfer.

The Red Devils confirmed Zizo’s arrival through a statement on their official website, marking a significant addition to the squad as they prepare for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.

Zizo touched down in Miami earlier today, traveling from Cairo alongside team administrator Mohamed Osama. The pair was welcomed at the airport by Al Ahly’s administrative manager Sameer Adly.

The winger joins Al Ahly’s ongoing training camp in Miami, as the club prepares for the historic edition of the FIFA Club World Cup, which will feature 32 teams for the first time ever. The tournament is scheduled to run from June 14 to July 13, 2025.

Al Ahly has been drawn into Group A alongside Inter Miami (USA), FC Porto (Portugal), and Palmeiras (Brazil).

The African giants will kick off the competition with a high-profile opening clash against Inter Miami, led by global icon Lionel Messi. The match is set to take place at 12:00 a.m. GMT on Sunday, June 15.
