Zamalek star Ahmed Sayed "Zizo" missed the latest disciplinary hearing at his club for the second time in a row, as he failed to attend a previous session scheduled for Sunday.

This marks the second consecutive hearing Zizo has missed after he was also absent from a session scheduled for last week. Zizo’s absence from Zamalek continues, with the player having been away from training sessions and matches since April 10. He has now failed to attend two disciplinary hearings as well.

The crisis involving Zamalek's star player began when the club discovered that the player had signed contracts related to arch-rivals Al Ahly, in preparation for a move next season after the expiration of his current deal with Zamalek.

For this reason, the player was initially excluded from the Stellenbosch match on April 9. Zamalek missed the Egypt national team player with the attack failing to score at home in a 0-1 second leg defeat that saw them bow out at the quarterfinal stage of the CAF Confederation Cup to the South African club.

Since then, Zizo has not participated in team training from April 10 until now having completely cut off contact with the club.
