Zwane: AmaZulu FC media
Frustrated yet remaining optimistic, AmaZulu FC coach Arthur Zwane has called for more patience and belief in his youthful South Africa’s Premier Soccer League (PSL) side.
The Kaizer Chiefs legend made the call after AmaZulu FC played out to a two-all draw with Sekhukhune United in a PSL’s Betway Premiership match at Princess Magogo Stadium on Monday.

Analysing the PSL game, the coach felt his charges showed some tactical naivety by giving away balls to the opponents in crucial moments of the game.
“When you look at all the goals and look at all the turnovers, we gave them the ball,” Zwane said. “You could see now when they started showing respect, they wanted to manage the game. They wanted to attack in moments rather than playing a game.
“They knew that they would open up, so they wanted to manage us, especially towards the end of the game. They were just playing for that point. You will find that situation when you play with players who are still growing. We just have to be patient and have belief.”
Thapelo Matlhoko put AmaZulu FC ahead before Olerato Mandi responded for the visitors. Eventually, Nkosikhona Radebe restored the lead for Usuthu only for Sekhukhune United to equalise again through Olerato Mandi.
Zwane-led side lies fourth in the standings, three points ahead of the fifth-placed Sekhukhune United.
The former Chiefs coach believes that AmaZulu FC can finish in the top-six of the Betway Premiership looking at the potential he has at his disposal.
