The Tunisian giants head into the encounter trailing after a narrow 0-1 first-leg home defeat to Sundowns, leaving the tie delicately poised with everything still to play for in the return leg.
Despite the setback, Beaumelle remains confident his side can overturn the deficit, drawing inspiration from their recent historic victory over Al Ahly in Cairo.
“Everything is possible. Espérance had never beaten Al Ahly in Cairo, but a few weeks ago we went there, scored three goals and won,” Beaumelle said.
The French tactician stressed the need for efficiency in front of goal, especially against a disciplined Sundowns side known for controlling games and punishing mistakes.
“Now, we must be efficient against Mamelodi Sundowns tomorrow. We have to believe in ourselves here, just like we did in Cairo,” he added.
Esperance will be banking on their experience and attacking intent to mount a comeback, knowing that a single goal could bring them level on aggregate and shift the momentum of the tie.
On the other hand, Sundowns will look to protect their slender advantage, with their strong home form and tactical organization giving them confidence heading into the decisive clash.
With a place in the final on the line, the stage is set for a tense and closely fought battle, where belief, composure, and clinical finishing could ultimately define who progresses.
