Diomande shines again as Leipzig beat Frankfurt 3-1 in Bundesliga clash

RB Leipzig continued their strong run in the Bundesliga with a 3-1 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt in Matchday 30, after another standout performance from Ivorian forward Yann Diomande.

Diomande opened the scoring in the 27th minute with a brilliant individual effort, showcasing his pace and skill to break the deadlock at Frankfurt’s home ground.

Frankfurt responded quickly, as Hugo Larsson equalized in the 34th minute, finishing off to bring the hosts back into the game.

However, Leipzig regained control in the second half. Antonio Nusa restored the lead in the 70th minute, before Conrad Harder sealed the win with a third goal in the 81st minute.

Diomande’s goal marks his 12th in the Bundesliga this season, placing him fifth in the top scorers’ chart, six goals behind the current leader Deniz Undav.

With this victory, Leipzig move up to 59 points in third place, strengthening their position in the UEFA Champions League qualification spots. Meanwhile, Frankfurt remain on 42 points in seventh place.
