Head coach of Dreams fc Winfred Dormon says he cannot wait to win the MTN FA Cup as a substantive trainer of the club.
The 43-year-old won the trophy as an assistant coach to Abdul Karim Zito in the 2022/23 season, helping the side reach semifinals of the CAF Confederation Cup.

Dormon has now managed to settle in well to life as the head coach, guiding the “Still Believe Boys” to the finals of the competition.
Dreams FC dispatched two time FA Cup winners ane current leaders Medeama 3-2 in Swedru last Saturday to set up a finals against Nations FC who kicked out Aduana [1-0].
Dormon talks about the all premier league affair final that will qualify the winner for next season’s CAF Confederation Cup.
“For me it’s going to be a great final because yes, in 2022-23 I won it in a different capacity as the assistant coach to Karim Zito.
“Therefore if I’m going to win this cup in my first time as the head coach of Dreams fc, I cannot imagine, very emotional,” Winfred Dormon told Radio Gold.
“I’m looking forward to it, I know it’s not going to be easy because I’ve also watched the nations team under Frimpong Manso and they seem to have a very good and a balanced team.
Dormon relishes winning the tournament and returning to continental football as head coach of the club.
“But we have to wait and see, for now we have to keep preparing, we have to keep planning and don’t forget that we have five more games to finish the league.
“So I’m looking forward to it because it’s going to be a big game for me as a head coach to win this trophy as an assistant coach under Karim Zito and also as the head coach to win it this time.”
Dormon’s Ghana premier league started on a jerky note but he has managed to revive their sinking fortunes, clicking 11 victories and seven draws.
They occupy 8th place on 40 points saw as Basake Holy Stars after 29 games this season.
