Mohamed Salah has received a major fitness boost as Liverpool F.C. officially confirmed that the Egyptian superstar is expected to return before the end of the current season.
Salah had suffered a minor muscle injury during Liverpool’s recent Premier League clash against Crystal Palace F.C., forcing him off in the 59th minute. He was replaced by Jeremie Frimpong.
In an official statement, Liverpool reassured supporters that Salah’s injury is only a minor muscle injury, with medical assessments confirming he should be available to play again before the campaign concludes.
Notably, Salah had announced that he is leaving Liverpool at the end of the season, ending his 9-season tenure with the Reds.
Salah’s recovery is also a significant boost for Egypt national football team ahead of their preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
