Andre Onana: Trabzonspor desire to sign keeper permanently

Turkish outfit, Trabzonspor have expressed their desire to permanently sign André Onana following his exploits in the Super Lig this campaign.

The Cameroonian shot stopper cemented his position as the club’s number after joining on loan from English Premier League club Manchester United.

Having struggled to make a mark with the Red Devils, the 30-year-old appeared composed with the Claret-Blues, notching 27 league appearances appearances, conceding 33 goals and keeping six clean sheets.

His eye-catching performance has propelled Trabzonspor into third on the league with 65 points from 21 games, two points behind second placed Fenerbahce and nine adrift of leaders Galatasary.

Manchester United to cash in on Onana

Manchester United are open to Onana’s departure as he might not be in their plans for next season and they hope to recover at least 20 million euros in this transaction.

With Senne Lammens producing clean performances Manchester United, the former Ajax and Inter Milan safest pair of hands will not want to play a second fiddle next season.

A permanent move to Turkey or elsewhere is likely to be on the cards for the 53 capped Indomitable Lion.
