In the French Ligue 1, Senegalese forward Issa Soumaré netted his seventh goal of the season during Le Havre’s 1-1 draw with Lille. The 25-year-old struck the equaliser for Le Havre in the 33rd minute, responding quickly to Arnar Haraldsson’s opening goal for Lille. Soumaré has now achieved an impressive haul of 32 appearances this campaign, with Le Havre currently occupying 14th place with only two matches remaining in the season.

The fixture between Auxerre and ten-man Angers highlighted the attacking prowess of Goduine Koyalipou and Lassine Sinayoko. Sinayoko ultimately secured the winner for Auxerre after Koyalipou had briefly pulled Angers level, with the match eventually ending 3-1 in favour of the former. Mali’s Sinayoko has now tallied nine goals in 30 appearances, while Central African Republic’s Koyalipou celebrated his first goal in 11 outings.

In the Turkish Süper Lig, England-born Ghanaian forward Daniel Agyei scored his fifth goal in 29 matches as Kocaelispor held Kasimpasa to a hard-fought 1-1 draw in Week 32.

Meanwhile, in Major League Soccer, Ghanaian winger Joseph Paintsil continued his blistering form for LA Galaxy. He opened the scoring during their 1-1 draw against the Vancouver Whitecaps on Saturday night, further cementing his influence in the North American top-flight.
