AS FAR kickoff CAF Champions League mind games, launch ticket sales

Morocco’s Association Sportive des Forces Armées Royales (AS FAR) have started the mind games ahead of the two-legged 2025-2026 CAF Champions League final meetings with wounded Mamelodi Sundowns.

The South Africa domestic football powerhouse welcomes the Botola Pro holders in the CAF Champions League final, first leg at Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria on Sunday, 17 May 2026.

This will be followed by the reverse fixture scheduled for Prince Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex in Rabat on 24 May.

The overall winner over the two legs will be crowned CAF Champions League champion.

AS FAR send message to Sundowns

Ahead of their trip to Pretoria, AS FAR have forewarned Sundowns, who are smarting from a morale-sucking 3-2 loss to TS Galaxy in a Betway Premiership match on Tuesday.

On their official X handle @ASFAR_Officiel, the Moroccans tweeted: “No loss. When we shine, we hurt the most. Next stop: Pretoria.”

AS FAR booked their place in the final after eliminating fellow Moroccans RS Berkane 2-1 on aggregate while Miguel Cardoso’s wards saw off Esperance de Tunis.

Meanwhile, Alexandre Santos-led team has stepped up online tickets for the Champions League final second leg to kick off at 20h00 Moroccan time.

So far over 100, 000 fans have shown interest in buying the match entry tickets which have been segmented.

The cheapest match entry ticket is pegged at around USD7 (60DH, Moroccan Dirhams) with the most expensive selling at USD214 (2000DH).

Fans can buy the tickets via online selling platform Webook.com which allows you to buy up to 10 tickets per person.
