Head coach of Medeama SC Ibrahim Tanko is still reeling from the pain of the 2-1 loss against Dreams FC in the Ghana Premier League last weekend.
Fresh from losing the top spot to holders GoldStars after the defeat to Dreams FC, Ibrahim Tanko is looking forward to making corrections in the subsequent games with the week 27 fixture against strugglers Eleven Wonders.
“I think it was very painful that we lost the first position to Bibiani Gold Stars, we started the game [against Dreams fc] very slowly but after the tenth minutes we came into the game very strongly.
“It’s unfortunate that we lost the game 2-1 but I think we have to put it behind us, we still have eight games to play, we have to concentrate to win,” Ibrahim Tanko told MEDi TV.
Ahead of the home match against bottom placed Eleven Wonders, Ibrahim Tanko hopes for a swift turning point.
“We are preparing very well, we put the last game behind us and you could see that the boys are really h I get for success and we need just a game to come back to our old form and I hope that this Friday will be the turning point for us.”
Medeama dropped to second on the league table with 46 points, two behind GoldStars.
The Mauve and Yellow walk into the Eleven Wonders fixtures with a horrible record of six games without a single victory.
