The major European leagues are drawing to the dying embers with African stars showing a lot of grit and class.
Nigeria striker Akor Adams was on the scoresheet during Sevilla’s 2-1 home win over Espanyol on Saturday.
Tyrhys Dolan shot Espanyol ahead in the 56th minute before Andres Castrin leveled for Sevilla with eight minutes to end the game.
Adams’ added time winner extended his season’s goal tally to 9 goals from 29 appearances with 3 assists to his name.
In the German Bundesliga, World Cup bound Bazoumana Touré scored the only goal in the 26th minute that won the day for TSG Hoffenheim at home to Werder Bremen on Saturday. Touré, 19, has now scored 5 times from 29 appearances with an impressive 9 assists this campaign.

African stars were not left out of the Italian Serie A with Senegal youngster, Idrissa Gueye scoring the second goal during Udinese’s 2-0 away win over Cagliari.
It was the 19-year-old’s debut Serie A goal in 17 appearances as Udinese sit in 9th with 50 points on the log.
