French Ligue 1 side FC Lorient are working in earnest to sign Senegal international Bamba Dieng on permanent basis.
Dieng, who is the current top scorer for Lorient, is out of contract at the end of the season at Angers.
He is currently on loan at Lorient from Angers, making his impact felt this season.

According to the head coach of Lorient Laurent Koscielny, the club is working around the clock to tie the striker to a contract despite several in interest.
“We will try to extend him. That doesn’t mean we’ll succeed.
“It also means staying within what we’re capable of doing (in terms of offer).
“If we manage to build a shared project over a few years, it will be with great pleasure.
“He’s a young man who fits our values, with a lot of humility.
“I remember he was somewhat sidelined at the start because there was a desire for him to leave.
“He was very professional. It’s up to us to do what’s necessary so we can continue our journey together for a while,” says sporting director Laurent Koscielny.
Dieng, 26, has played 18 matches this season, scoring nine goals with one assist this season.
The Diambars graduate who previously played for Olympique Marseille, has 21 international appearances with two goal for Senegal.
