With a top-four slot not guaranteed yet, Sekhukhune United have called on their fans to pump up the volume of support in the remaining two Betway Premiership matches of the 2025 season in South Africa.
Eric Tinker’s side has issued a statement, calling for support as the Betway Premiership run-in gets tougher. Babina Noko lie in third place, just one point above Stellenbosch FC, who, too, have not hidden their ambition for yet another dance in continental football next season.
“As the inaugural Betway Premiership winds up, there are still 6 crucial points to fight for. We plead with you, our beloved Babina Noko family, to stand with us until the end. You brought us this far, and we need you to help us over the line,” the statement reads.
Sekhukhune United beat Chippa United 1-0 over the weekend to boost their survival hopes and wind up the season on the road against Kaizer Chiefs and Lamontville Golden Arrows on May 17 and 24, 2025.
With the two games remaining, Babina Noko have already matched their 45 points tally they achieved last season when they finished in third place.
