The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has officially unveiled the final shortlists for the 2024 CAF Awards, highlighting the continent’s finest players and clubs.
The much-anticipated ceremony is scheduled to take place on Monday, December 16, 2024, in Marrakech, Morocco, celebrating the best of African football over the past year. Below is the list of nominees for Best Club in Africa:

The competition for the coveted Best Club in Africa award has been narrowed down to five elite teams:
Al Ahly SC (Egypt)
Zamalek SC (Egypt)
Mamelodi Sundowns (South Africa)
RS Berkane (Morocco)
Espérance de Tunis (Tunisia)
These finalists emerged as the top contenders, while notable clubs such as Wydad AC (Morocco), TP Mazembe (DR Congo), Petro de Luanda (Angola), Dreams FC (Ghana), and Young Africans SC (Tanzania) were eliminated from the initial shortlist announced last month.
